George Neville Transport Safety Systems

A family of innovators since 1904.

A brief History of George Neville.

George Neville was born in 1913, and after the war, his father, Edgar Neville, found a ready market for ex-War Department vehicles, converting them for commercial use by expertly crafting saloon and van bodies onto them by hand.

Innovation runs in the Neville family, and over the years George followed in his father’s footsteps and made progressive steps in the industry by creating the ‘tilt cab’ a commercial vehicle cab design.Scanss

George also gained recognition by inventing a manual sheeting system which could be also operated automatically. This sheeting system was recognised in the industry for its excellence in design and in 1977 George Neville received a Design Council Award from the Duke of Edinburgh.
